About Neuro Linguistic Progamming....no it's not a gimmick!

NLP in the workplace.....why use it?

NLP enhances communication, boosts emotional intelligence, and improves problem-solving skills. It fosters a positive work culture, increases productivity, and supports personal and professional growth, empowering teams to achieve their best.

Business applications

In today's fast-paced business world, change is no longer a rare occurrence, but rather a constant and ever-evolving state. This can present a multitude of challenges across various areas, including team dynamics, organizational structure, governance, delivery pressures, and more. However, by working collaboratively with these teams, I can help establish better working practices, foster career growth, refine processes, and coach individual team members on various delivery aspects. My approach is always tailored to fit the unique environment and culture of each business I work with, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Why me?

With my diverse hybrid experience in digital delivery, relationship management, leading large change and digital multi channel programmes I can enable and create a positive impact on all areas of business and work to support your teams to establish streamlined working practices, hone out issues or niggles between delivery teams.

Life is not always about the destination, its more about the journey we take to get there, but having a clear idea of that purpose or goal or in navigational terms 'the north point' enables the journey to be that much more exciting.

I have worked as a Cherie Blaire Mentor working with young business women in other cultures to help on a number of different strategies to help them grow, and build themselves and their business.

Key Principles

Outcome orientation with respect for others’ models of the world and the ecology of the system.

  • There is only feedback - not failure.

  • The Meaning of your communication is the response you get.

  •  Adaptive intent of all behaviour.

  • Everyone has the necessary resources to succeed.

  • f. Resistance is a signal of insufficient pacing.

That's what makes a beautiful business - being curious about the intersection between commerce and creativity."

Transform your team mindset with NLP

What is NLP?

NLP methodology can "model" the skills of exceptional people, then those skills can be acquired by anyone. This can be applied in any and all aspects of your life, career and personal relationships. I work with my clients by utilizing the NLP tools and skills to remodel and adapt less positive situations in the business environment in to positively reframed and successful outcomes.

NLP practitioner training and coaching allows me to work with clients and their teams to identify the challenges that digital transformation and change imposes on businesses and their cultures. I gather a big picture view of the environment, processes, ecology of the environment and team dynamics, as well as working with indiviuals to identify where their pain points, frustrations or more general habits are interacting amidst that environment. As you dive deeper and peel back the layers the techniques in NLP aid in providing a framework and engaging zone to create flexibility and creativity.

Let's consider communication in business:

Many think it's all about sending lots of emails, talking frequently, or writing eloquently. In reality, it's much more nuanced. Effective business communication involves building genuine rapport using physiology, voice tone, speed, volume, gestures, and language. Someone who understands how to draw on NLP skills and use them in work and daily life can even interface with people they don’t particularly like!

Delving deeper, we uncover how people process information, their values, and what truly motivates them. This understanding helps individuals be their best and perform optimally for the business. With this insight, resolving conflicts becomes easier, different perspectives are appreciated, and team performance is enhanced.

On an individual level, engaging 1:1 with an NLP practitioner can significantly reduce sick leave or prevent it altogether. It’s especially beneficial for those recovering from stress or mental health issues affecting their work. Returning to a supportive environment, free of judgment, is crucial for their recovery and reintegration.

where did it come from?

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California, United States in the 1970s. Its creators claim a connection between the neurological processes ("neuro"), language ("linguistic") and behavioral patterns learned through experience ("programming") and that these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life.

How does this apply in business?

I cannot recommend Sally highly enough. She is a hard working, results-oriented person who has always been able to balance the needs necessary. She does this with the utmost competency and efficiency, but also with energy and a positive attitude.
